Baptism
August 4, 2024 | Lake Cammack
At St. Mark’s Community Church, we believe that baptism by water is a sacred event modeled by Jesus Christ and is an act of obedience for us as believers. We celebrate each believer as they declare to the world that they have accepted Jesus as their savior.
Baptism is a powerful way of showing our trust in Jesus. Baptism is a sign that you are “under new management,” a doorway into community through the local church, and—at St. Mark’s Community Church—a party! If you are ready to take this step, sign up to be baptized by clicking the button below.
“For you are all children of God through faith in Christ Jesus. And all who have been united with Christ in baptism have put on Christ, like putting on new clothes.” (Galatians 3: 26-27, NLT)
*Pre-registration ends Wednesday, July 31. Walk-up registration available Sunday, August 4 at Lake Cammack (7:30-8am).
We will gather again in the morning at the lake for our Sunday worship service, followed by baptism and celebration. For more information, to volunteer, or to talk with a pastor about baptism, email Jessica Flake.
