Freedom’s Hope Compassionate Ministries’ mission is to break the cycle of despair. Assisting those impacted by poverty by providing resources for the mind, body and soul. Our center is a place where participants can get help with community resources, see the nurse, or enjoy a cup of coffee and snacks. Participants can also have access to showers, laundry and mail services
SERVING OPPORTUNITIES:
Volunteer: Freedom’s Hope Community Center
Day & Time: The Community Center is open Monday-Thursday, from 8:30am to 12:30pm. A community meal is provided every Thursday at 11 am.

Volunteer
Description: We need loving dedicated volunteers to assist at our day center for the unhoused and underserved individuals in Alamance County.
Areas of need:
-Computer room assistance with job applications, emails, etc..
-Chaplains- spiritual assessments and one on one care
-Laundry and Hope chest clothing closet services
-Registration/sign in desk
-Kitchen duty/breakfast area
Additional needs: IT skills (website, social media), Grant writing, Men or women ministry leaders. Each area is a ministry opportunity on its own.
Our Center is Monday thru Thursday 8:30 until 12:30.
