Middle and High School Ministry

You Belong Here.

Waypoint is our weekly gathering for students in 6th-12th grades. Read below for more details and our vision for Waypoint students!

Why Waypoint?

A waypoint is a stopping point along the way to our final destination where we readjust and realign ourselves to make sure we’re still heading where we need to go. It can also refer to our goal, direction, or heading.

Our world is filled with many distractions, negative influences, and false advice. Waypoint is a place where students can go where the timeless truths of God’s word cut through the noise. It’s a place where we reset and realign with the freedom that comes from living for something greater than ourselves. But more than anything, it’s a place where we fix our waypoints on Christ and Christlikeness.

Join us every Sunday morning and Sunday evening as we pursue Jesus together!

Sunday Mornings

Worship Center | 9am and 11am

One of the best ways to follow Jesus is to come to church on Sunday mornings! Our middle and high schoolers join our adults for Sunday morning services including dynamic worship and relevant gospel teaching. We’ll have a seat saved for you at every Sunday service in our Student Section!

Come say hey and connect with us at our booth in the Worship Center lobby!

Sunday Evenings

Middle School | 5:00-6:30pm | Student Center

High School | 6:00-7:30pm | Student Center

Separate group and teaching time for middle and high school students, along with a shared time of worship from 6:00-6:30 combine the best of both worlds—unique space tailored for both age groups, along with a true community worship experience.

What to Expect

Engaging Environment

We keep things exciting with games, fun, and an awesome student ministry band that leads us in worship every week. We keep our middle schoolers and high schoolers together for music because nothings beats the incredible energy of having that many students in one room all praising God.

Welcoming Small Groups

Don’t know anyone? No problem! By the end of Waypoint you will be connected to a small group. Every student at Waypoint is put into a small group of their peers that they will do discussions, attend events, and do life with. These groups are lead by caring, safe adult leaders who love to invest in the lives of students.

Meaningful Conversations

The youth years are filled with new and exciting challenges: from friendships, to the future, to identity, to pursuing faith through it all. We talk about the things students are wrestling with and bring it back to Christ.

Unforgettable Experiences

Between our fall retreats, summer camp, spring conference (W3), and every other event we do, there will be plenty to keep students excited, growing, and filled with memories to last a lifetime!

Gen Now

We believe students are the church of today, not the church of tomorrow! We want to empower students to worship alongside adults on Sunday mornings, serve in every aspect of the church, and commit to leading out in growing God’s kingdom.
